About My Travel Experiences

A scenic view of a mountain landscape with clear skies and a peaceful lake in the foreground.

Thank you for visiting my travel blog! I'm excited to share some essential air travel tips along with context about my experiences and perspectives on travel. Living in the United States, reaching many destinations in a reasonable timeframe often necessitates air travel, and through my journeys, I've picked up valuable insights that I believe can benefit others.

Growing up in eastern Washington state, my earliest memories of flying stem from trips to Utah to visit family, which became a regular adventure. As a result, my mother wisely enrolled me in my first frequent flyer membership back in 1994 when I was just 2 years old. I associate the joy of vacations with flying, and even as time goes on, the excitement of travel continues to inspire me.

Although I primarily fly Delta due to my childhood location and current circumstances, I've experienced a variety of airlines and look forward to adding new options like Virgin Atlantic, Air Canada, and Saudia to my list soon. You may not find flight reviews for all my journeys, either because they were from long ago or might seem redundant. In addition to flights, my travel blog will feature reviews about rail travel, including Westbahn, Deutsche Bahn ICE, Amtrak's Acela, and Saudi Arabian Railways, with more to come. I will also provide overviews of public transit systems in notable cities and airport profiles for those I've flown to or through. Enjoy!
