Thank you for visiting my blog! I wanted to provide some basic information as well as some context about me and how I have developed my perspectives on travel. Being in the United States, to go a lot of places in a reasonable amount of time requires flying for at least a good portion of any longer journey. I am not a professional traveler or blogger either, but I encounter air travel enough to have learned a thing or two which I believe can be helpful to others.
Growing up in eastern Washington state, my first memories of flying were to Utah to see family; this ended up being a somewhat frequent occurrence, and as a result my mother wisely signed me up for my first frequent flyer membership back in 1994 at the age of 2. I strongly associate the memory of good times on vacation with flight, so even as time has passed the thrill of adventure and travel continues to impact me.
While I primarily fly Delta due to geographical location during my childhood and through the present, I have flown on a host of others and am adding some new players to the list in the near future, including: LATAM, SATA Air Azores, TAP Air Portugal, and SAS (Scandinavian Airlines System). You may not see reviews of all of the flights I have taken, either because they were a long time ago or because it would be otherwise redundant. In addition to flights, you will also find reviews about other modes of travel (primarily rail) as I continue to flesh out content. Enjoy!
